Rules- Variations of Black Jack exist depending on where you play, but not to fear there are certain universal elements and the rules are usually posted at any site you choose to play.  The number of decks (which changes the House advantage, the greater the number of decks the greater the house advantage), is something that varies along with whether or not the dealer stays or must hit on a soft 17 (any 17 formed with the combination of an Ace). 

              

How to play- The first thing you must do is ante, place your bet. The table restrictions vary and are found at each table.

Next comes the shoot, or dealing of cards. If you get 21 out of the shoot, the first deal, you have a Black Jack. A usual payout for this is 3:2 unless otherwise stated.  If the dealer is showing an Ace the player usually has the option to take "even money" which is a 1:1 payout of the original bet, or to wait to receive a full 3:2 payout.
